Rig é a criação do esqueleto e de controladores que permitirão, ao animador, controlar um personagem.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O esqueleto tem seus ossos, que são chamados de BONES ou JOINTS, dependendo do software 3D. Sua função é deformar a malha do personagem de forma correta, como ocorre em nós. Esses controladores são ligados aos ossos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Existem vários tipos de rigs: básicos, intermediários e avançados. E cada um desses podem variar na mesma categoria dependendo de quem o faça. Rigs avançados contém scripts que automatizam certas funções do personagem. Em CG (Computação Gráfica) textura está mais associada à aparência de um objeto. Uma parede em 3D lisa, pode ter a aparência de tijolos, inclusive com relevo, apenas com a aplicação de imagens de tijolos. Essas imagens são chamadas texturas. Normalmente, principalmente para personagens, essas texturas são criadas em softwares de edição de imagens e/ou pintura digital com base nas UVs geradas do objeto.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Abaixo, seguem as texturas da cabeça e do corpo de Leeho criadas através de pintura. Nesse caso, as texturas são extremamente simples. Na verdade, criei apenas máscaras para separar as cores e shaders dos materiais de Leeho, e para posicionar a logo no peito. As UVs são as coordenadas para aplicação da textura na malha. É a malha planificada.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O mapa Checker é aplicado por dois motivos:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- por ser quadriculado, fica fácil do artista evitar distorções nas UVs , ou seja, quanto mais quadradinhos o xadrez do checker, menos distorções ocorrerão no formato da planificação.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Outro motivo é manter os quadrados de áreas diferentes do mesmo tamanho para não ter diferença nas proporções das partes do corpo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_jk4-VFaLvrs/RuBdAptX9vI/AAAAAAAAAAw/wANR-BWn2A0/s1600-h/ID_Checker.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_jk4-VFaLvrs/RuBdAptX9vI/AAAAAAAAAAw/wANR-BWn2A0/s200/ID_Checker.jpg" target="_blank" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5107184243215693554" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Abaixo, seguem as UVs exportadas como imagem.
